What is the size on these?

The size of the unwashed, printed panel (includes 2 towels) is 44 x 32". The size of one finished ( hemmed) and washed towel is 20 x 30" ( includes 4% shrinkage width and length based on a warm prewash and drying on low heat.
Are these cotton towels absorbent or do they have a finish on them?

These cotton towels are absorbent and designed to be used in the kitchen :)
I sewed up a set of these for a hostess gift and they were very well received. I know I will be back for more, the colors were bright and the material wonderfully absorbent as well as generously sized!
