I loved all my other Tea Towels that I bought from you but this one has a weird fabric. How come this is a different fabric in the first place? Hello Christiane, This fabric is 100% cotton and is a crepe weave which gives it a lovely texture. Be sure to check the fabric specifications on each fabrics page to check the type of fabric, either plain weave or crepe for these Tea Towel sewing Kits. I love these! Hemming them reminded me of my childhood experiences using a Singer 15-90 and learning to hem bleached feed sacks for dish towels. These are so much more fun as well as prettier and have a lovely absorbent texture after their first time through the washer and dryer.
