Albert Bierstadt's dreamy landscapes convey the unspoiled wilderness of the 19th century American outback, conveying the awe-inducing wonder of sharp cliffs, huge skies, and cavernous valleys with soft colors and hazy atmospheric light.
Refined shades of bluish-grey like that of ELEPHANT Linen stain distant, craggy mountains and heavily laden storm clouds with quietly brewing drama, pulling us far into the depths of his wide-open vistas where true mystery lies.

At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 59 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Perfect Color

This "Elephant" color is stunning! A medium shade of gray with a hint of blue. Very classy and elegant. And soft! I'm going to make slip covers for our dining chairs.

Another dress for me!

As I wear only dresses and leggings I just can't have too many. This linen is so darn perfect for them. When I do put one of my old cotton ones on I can't get out of it fast enough. This linen is so breathable, flows and drapes perfectly, is a snap to sew with and just works! More spring colors please as we're moving in that direction now. I've taken to sewing a patch on the front from my other fabric scraps as a replacement for jewelry or adornment just for built in spark as I don't wear jewelry.

A wonderful shade of Gray!

My personal palette is greens and blue greens, and this shade of gray works beautifully, with Meadow, Dove, Fog, but is still strong gray! Reccomend highly!
