AGAVE Linen's cold, watery green flowed through Edgar Degas' paintings, illuminating grassy banks, cafe scenes and private interiors with the fresh sheen of Parisian light. Though his subjects were hugely varied, Degas' paintings pivoted around moments of suspended tension, from racehorses to jittery dancers and precariously balanced nudes. Silvery green tones helped him invest this mysterious, magical spark of vitality into his artworks, allowing them to bristle with nervous excitement.

At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 59 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

I don't know what the weight in OZ. means for the feel. I want Gave or dust Lotus for a long bench cushion and? or tablecloth. Idont want it to be so thin that you can see through the part that hangs below the table edge. I want it upholstery weight or like a linen table cloth. Is 5.3 heavy enough?

The IL019 is a middleweight linen that is used for upholstery projects that are not considered high use but can and is used for tablecloths. You may want to take a look at the 4C22 linen selection which is a little heavier with a bit more substance if needed.

Soft, medium turquoise

This beautiful soft turquoise has a bit of grey to it, making it blend with any of the blue-geeens. It's in the same family as sphinx but with some white added. I sewed a pair of slacks which I wear often. The weight is perfect for Florida seasons.

This is a really gorgeous color. I've used this color again and again for projects for my Etsy shop (CalendulaHandmade) because of the great quality of this linen. My latest purchase is for 3 lumbar pillow covers for my sister's new living room couch. I'll be hand printing a new block print design I created to go with her living room decor.

Gorgeous Color

This color is absolutely gorgeous, and as usual the fabric is lovely to work with. Maybe that is why it is out of stock so often. Please bring it back!

My favorite FS color

This fabric is perfectly named - It is truly is the color of agave. The soft, cool, almost neutral green color, the perfect weight and drape... This fabric is becoming my "go to."

This is one of my favorite F/S colors. A lovely grayed blueish green that goes well with so many other colors. I'm about to make 5 pillows for my sister with this color, 3 of which will have my own design block printed in a lighter shade of this color on them.

Such a lovely color and feel! Made a cross-back apron with a curved hem and deep patch pockets. This is not my first order of linen from FS, but absolutely not my last. Working with this linen is a dream. (IG: sabalclothing)

I made a skirt using McCall's 7905 pattern. I love the color of this fabric! And the wooden buttons from honeybegood.com adds the perfect touch.

I used this fabric to make the Sepia pants by Closet Core patterns. The color is perfect somewhere between blue and green and will go with so many colors. I'm wearing a Phoebe tank using the Unbleached Linen. The linen is so comfy and cool and also is good for my skin as I have eczema. The breathability means I won't be scratching in the hot and humid weather.

I love this shade of green. The top is the Phoebe Linen Tank with the front neckline scooped a bit. The skirt is the Clo Bias Skirt by Soften Studio.
