Fabric specifications:
At a heavier weight of 7.1 ounces this 100% linen is referred to as Rustic due to its more textured look and feel. Durable and perfect for projects that require just a bit more substance.
The Premier Finish undergoes a two-step process to give the cloth a luxurious, supple feel right out of the box.
First, we apply a softener to give the fabric a silkier surface. Then, strong blasts of air are blown into the woven cloth. This beats up the fibers to make them softer and mimics the fiber bending process that the fabric undergoes when you've used it a lot.
This finishing process gives the fabric a much softer and more luxurious hand. It will be less prone to deep creases and have less linting. Shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration based on the fabric type ( thread size, count, weave type).

Looking to make napkins with a fringe edge. Saw some at pottery barn that were quite heavy weight. But at $10 a piece I thought i could make something similar. Would you suggest rustic premiere or softened for this project?

We recommend to check 2 of the fabrics from our collection . Art 4C-22 , canvas weight or art IL019 medium weight both of those fabric will be great chose make a napkins with fringe edges. We offering sample swatches and recommend to order the swatches and check the weight of the fabric.
I'm curious about this color "shadow grey" for the 4C22 Rustic linen. On my screen the color looks like a dusty rose-pink, with possibly coral or orangish undertones...is it really grey??? Thanks!

It says pre-cut so if you buy four you are getting four cuts at .40 yards in length correct? What if you want a continuous cut of longer cuts?
