At a heavier weight of 7.1 ounces this 100% linen is referred to as Rustic due to its more textured look and feel. Durable and perfect for projects that require just a bit more substance.
The Premier Finish undergoes a two-step process to give the cloth a luxurious, supple feel right out of the box.
First, we apply a softener to give the fabric a silkier surface. Then, strong blasts of air are blown into the woven cloth. This beats up the fibers to make them softer and mimics the fiber bending process that the fabric undergoes when you've used it a lot.
This finishing process gives the fabric a much softer and more luxurious hand. It will be less prone to deep creases and have less linting. Shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration based on the fabric type ( thread size, count, weave type).

I wanted a bold color in a natural fabric and this is great. 2 yards; fringed about 2" on each end (would've done longer, but - whew - it's tedious); did a ‘fancy' zigzag across each end to secure everything and then divided into sections to create tassels. hope to post a picture to illustrate. Again, tedious, but wonderful result.
I used this lovely fabric for my Viking underdress. It was heavy enough for modesty but light enough to wear in Southern California summer weather.
Lovely Fabric
I used this to make the Jules shorts. The heavy weight was perfect for a garment which will be well-used. I love the free patterns which help me make good use of your lovely fabrics!
Apricot color is faint
To my surprise the color of my 20 yards is anemic, light peach brown. Not ripe apricot as seen in description. Should have ordered a sample. Now I am searching natural dyes and surface embellishments to make the slipcovers for sofa. Will send pictures of project latter.
I love this color--it is vibrant and joyous! The 7.1 weight is perfect for tea towels and aprons. I loved it so much I ordered more.
