Inventive color was a vital strand in his fantastical scenes, taking his famous floating lovers, animals and musicians further from the realms of reality into a wondrous, escapist dream. He wrote, "Colour is
everything, colour is vibration like music; everything is vibration."
At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 58 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

The bolt is a 10% discount and can only be combined with the ilovelinen code which gives an additional 7%. Any other discounts or special sales cannot be applied to or combined with the bolt discount.
This linen has been a dream. I sewed a dress, top, and a pair of capri length pants. No problems with the durability of this fabric.
I was so excited to get this linen. Its my first go at linen fabrics. It felt a little rough and "manufactured" out of the package but after a wash it softened right up and has beautiful soft texture and drape. The color swatch is accurate on my monitor it is a lovily red toned purple. Eggplant or purplywine is excellent description.
Beautiful reddish purple. My new favorite color. Made a G63 tunic for myself and trimmed it with a bronze silk sari. Utterly divine. You won't regret this color ever.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
