Yes, you can use this fabric. If you're looking for more variety in color you can also use our IL019 Signature finish fabrics which are much softer. For a cotton option, look for our percale fabrics. If you want to soften this fabric up, our softening potion works wonders!

For not being softened this fabric was soft and light to the touch especially after prewashing. Since this was a doggy bag purchase i decided to use this as a practice and fit muslin for the saltwater slip pattern by Friday pattern company. It sewed up nicely and only slightly see through. Perfect for a slip. I only need to tweak the grading towards my hipa and the tie strap placement was too low for my taste. It kind of was unflattering for my pear shaped torso. (*ahem blocky butt*). I will move that up for an empire dress effect maybe...
This white linen-cotton blend was perfect for my spring/summer top. The fabric becomes soft after washing and feels wonderful. It goes well with the bottom I made of Rustic Spice (DB4C22).

Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
