Hi, would this fabric be good for bath towels?

Yes, being 100% linen, which is a thirsty fiber, you can use this for luxurious bath and hand towels alike.

Would this fabric pair well with the Crimson colorway from the midweight linen?

We recommend to check 2 colors that can be pair to Art IL098 , it's IL019 Crimson or IL019 Red Traviata . Both colors can be used to pair 2 fabrics .

Karen, your skirt is beautiful. How much fabric did you use to achieve the effect you wanted with the gores and pattern? Is this skirt knee length or longer?

Do you think this would work to cover the seats of dining room chairs? They were my grandmother's. The chairs were originally caned, but she had them upholstered. I have them now and they need recovered.

Is this fabric too heavy for a bias cut skirt? I'm thinking of Style Arc Genoa pattern

Hello, you may be best asking the pattern company for specific weights for that skirt as it isn't listed on their site. If you were to use this fabric for say our Ida Bias cut skirt, then we would recommend it, and you may like to use a lightweight linen or cotton for the waistband lining.

Gorgeous

I love this fabric. The drape is lovely, and I needed something to wear to a wedding. So I looked online for a pattern for a six gored skirt. I found some tutorials for making one to my measurements (very simple), made a muslin, and then cut this fabric. I matched the seams based on what part of the pattern I wanted at the waist, but I did not match based on the pattern itself—that is, I didn't want to recreate the lattice pattern of the fabric. Instead, I wanted to narrow the distances between matching elements., creating new patterns that opened up to the original pattern toward the bottom of the skirt. The result is lovely. I'm going to make a black linen crop top to wear with it—the skirt is very high waisted, so my midriff won't show.

A Doublet extroirdinare out of one yard of the Jacquard. And about 30 yards of trim.

Here's the skirt I made with this fabric. I love the way the pattern changes along the length of the skirt. As you can see, I widened the gores quite a bit toward the bottom to get the pattern I wanted.
