I recently ordered three sets of different tea towel kits including this one which was for a gift to a friend. The print is really gorgeous BUT I was very disappointed in the fabric of this particular set. The fabric is thin with a veery open weave and probably wont be much use as a drying towel. It's ironic as this set was the more expensive. The other two, Paradise and Spring Song are lovely and the fabric iweight is good.
When I opened my package,I was stunned by how lovely the toweling fabric was! It was comparable to expensive dish towels from Europe. The printing was crisp and clear.The colors were vivid.I plan to buy more in the future, as I am very pleased!
I just received my linen towels. They come beautifully wrapped for gifting to someone who sews or to yourself. The linen is thick and on grain and the towels are big. I haven't washed them yet, so I'm not sure on shrinkage. I'm eyeing another set, they really are beautiful!
My tea towels arrived! I ordered 4, one set for towels, the other set became a runner for my table. I joined the two together with a scrap of linen embellished with cotton ribbon.
