IC012 is 59" wide, tight  Plain Weave Poplin in 100% Cotton.

It feels smooth and even to the touch, with a light and airy drape.

Poplin is the finest fabric we offer, and it is a great option for summer dresses,  blouses, and loungewear.

It tends to be slightly transparent and may require a lining.

This  Poplin is 3.4  ounces a square yard but strong enough fabric to stand up to the washing machine.

FS exclusive hand-painted artworks are printed with the best available machinery, using reactive dye ink that gives long-lasting colors and is not harmful to the body, to transfer these paintings onto 100% Cotton fabric.

We also brought two solid colors: white and black.

Our collection received rigorous Oeko-Tex certification and is a part of the BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) - ensuring that these items are biodegradable, recyclable, and free of harmful toxins or irritants (good for your family and good for the planet).

All designs are created and available exclusively at F|S.com.

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Test strip for Natural dying

This fabric is beautiful, crisp, tightly woven & still light & smooth. 40 yrs ago I had a pair of curtains that I loved how the morning sun would shine through. I could never find quite the right color again. Today my test strip of IC012 cotton produced that color.. I can't wait to test linen.

I have been sewing with mostly cotton poplin this season. It is crisp, and easy to sew. It is also the perfect companion to structure and form. Oh...and pants exploration, so I gathered my White Cotton Poplin to make pants that had volume and drape- like a skirt...but pants....equally inspired by structure and juxtapositions of sporty details on classic styles- I decided to self-draft myself.
