night-time scenes portray urban scenes almost entirely cloaked by
darkness, leaving only a smattering of twinkling lights or far-off
fireworks in view.
Painted from memory in his studio, they were all feeling and sensation, drawing us in to a mystical, imaginative world of
his own making. He wrote, "By using the word 'nocturne' I wished to
indicate an artistic interest alone, divesting the picture of any
outside anecdotal interest which might have been otherwise attached to
it. A nocturne is an arrangement of line, form, and color first."
At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 59 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Hello, I don't see it in the incoming fabrics for June, please email customer service in July to see if it is on the restock list :)
No undertones of green, blue, purple or taupe at all. If you are looking for a gorgeous true grey, this is it. I agree with the previous reviewer - it's a calming grey that's neither too dark light nor too light.
Cool gray
Beautiful calming dark gray, not too dark or not too light, just right. I've made a couple pillowcases with this. They feel very nice and cool under my head at night.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
