Thanks, Lindsey! I have a ruffling presser foot, but I rarely use it. I usually do the fold thing. I mark several places (at least at halfway point) and pin those in place so I don't use all the ruffle in the first 6 inches-----which I have done!

Thanks, Martina! It was a California King. I used 8 yds of the linen. The customer's inspiration was Belle Notte "Whisper Linen" dust ruffle. I like this one better -- and it was a fraction of the cost!
