1) Why to buy our linen? Very simple. Excellent quality, good prices and the 100% satisfaction guarantee. Linen is a must in many things we use and why should you overpay for bad quality fabric. You will spend your time making something that you want to enjoy for the rest of your life and I am sure that you don't want to make a historical costume that will split down the seams the first fair you wear it to, or napkins that will leave lint in your guest's mouths. Besides these obvious things, linen is a great fabric for any one who has allergies because is doesn't cause any, linen bed sheets breathe letting you stay cool during hot summers, and linen couch covers or anything else we put through everyday use, with all the washes, won't rip, but just get softer.

2) Why are the prices so low? Where is the "catch"? There is no "catch". You get exactly what you see for that exact price. The price is so low because we get the fabric directly from the mills, no middle man charges involved, allowing you to receive the best possible prices for the best quality fabric.

3) Is your fabric suitable for embroidery and other hobbies? I am proud to say that we are considered an online destination of choice for the textile hobbyist.

4) How can I choose the right fabric for my project if it is my first time at Fabrics-store.com and I don't know what the Articles, Types and Weights stand for? If you are unfamiliar with our fabric, you should use the "Advanced" search option. You will find it within the "Search" box at the top of the home page at fabrics-store.com, just click on the "Advanced" and you will be taken to a page where you have different categories to mark. Below, on the same page, you will find "Search Tips", general descriptions of Type and Weight to help you make the right selection of fabric. You don't have to mark all of the categories, however, you need to mark the weight and type for the "Advanced" search to help you. When finished marking the categories, click on "Go" and fabrics that fit your marked categories will appear for you to choose from.

5) How do I search for the right fabric if I know the Article, color, design or pattern? If you are familiar with our fabrics, you can just use the "Search" option instead of the "Advanced". This is the same box at the top of the home page at fabrics-store.com. There you select either by article, color, design or pattern; then type in what you are looking for and click on "Go". You will be taken to a page with the fabrics that fit your selection.

6) How can I narrow down the fabric selection to be only the fabrics that I am looking for? Go to the home page and click on "All Fabrics". Once you do that, you will have the first page of our fabrics. At the top of this page you will see 4 blue boxes: content, color, type and weight. Click on the arrows and select from the provided options. Every time you select an option that narrows down the fabrics to fit your selection, you will have fabrics come up that suit your demands. The selection will be edited as you go along and mark other boxes; and once you mark all four boxes you will be left only with the fabrics that fit your selection perfectly. *In all three searches, if at any point, you see "There are 0 similar selections" that means that at this given time we don't have any fabric available in stock that fit all of your marked categories. Go back to where you were getting fabric selections for your marked categories and see if you can find what you are looking for there.

7) How can I see how two colors look together if they are on different pages? If you would like to see if the colors look good together put them in your "Shopping cart", add them to "My Favorites", use the "Fitting room" or our Color Groups.

8) Do you send samples? Are they free of charge? Yes, we do and yes, they are. There is two ways you can order fabric swatches:

9) Do you have a minimum or a maximum for swatches? No we don't, but please be considerate. We make our swatch cards by hand and it does take a bit of time. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

10) Do you have a minimum order for fabric? The minimum online order is one yard.

11) Do you have a maximum for fabric? Our maximums are limited by inventory on hand. If, for some reason your selection is not available in the quantity specified, we will gladly suggest an alternative or provide with a time frame for back order if you just call or email us.

12) What if I need wholesale fabric? We have a separate whole sale division that targets apparel and home furnishings manufacturers. That division has a 1,000 yard minimum order and can be contacted by emailing contact@fabrics-store.com or by calling us at 888-LINEN54 (546-3654).

13) How do I register? Go to "Sign in", it's located at the right top corner at the "Home" page at fabrics-tore.com. At the bottom of the box that you are taken to, it says" If you are not a registered user, please sign up now", click there. Fill out all of the required boxes; they are marked with a star. From now on you can "Sign in" using your registered email and password.

14) This is my first time buying at fabrics-store.com. How do I place an order? "Sign in" using your registered email address and password. Use the "Advance" search option, located at the "Home" page, to find the fabric you need. Once you find the fabric you would like to purchase, click on the top icon located to the right of the fabric, this will place that fabric in your shopping cart. Continue shopping until you have everything you want to buy in your shopping cart. Go to your shopping cart and change the "Quantity" of yards of the fabrics you have selected to what you want, ex: 3 yards. Do "Update quantity" and click on "Proceed to check out" then follow the check out steps.

15) What do I do if I forget my password? Got to "Sign in", there you will see "Forgot your password? Click Here." Click on that and type in the email address that you used to register your "Log in" with us. Your password will be emailed to that email address.

16) How do I use credits or discounts? To use a discount, once you are done shopping click on "Proceed to Checkout". After you fill out your shipping and billing information and choose the delivery options, you will be taken to the last page where you will find a place to type in your discount code. To use your credit, click on "Proceed to Checkout", fill out all of the necessary shipping and billing information, choose you delivery options, when you get to the final page, right above the total, you will see "discount/credit" and the amount you have. This amount is automatically applied to your total.

18) I put a fabric in my shopping cart and selected the yardage. Came back in a few hours and the yardage is at "0". I keep trying to change it back to the amount of yards I need and it just keeps going back to "0". Why? Unfortunately we can't put fabrics on hold for you. So if you select a fabric and put it in your shopping cart, it does not mean that the fabric is on hold for you. If it keeps going back to "0", it means that the fabric has been sold out. You can email us or give us a call and we will be happy to let you know when this fabric will be available in stock again or suggest an alternative.

19) I selected the fabric I want to buy, changed the quantity and at the end, when it shows me what I ordered right before I pay, it is showing that I only want 1 yard of the fabric when I wanted 5 yards . Why? You forgot to click on "Update quantity" that is on the left hand side, right under the fabrics you have selected, in your shopping cart. Without doing that, the program won't register the amount you want and at "Check out" it will count you for only 1 yard.

20) How do I check the shipping cost before making the purchase? Make sure you have all of the fabrics you want to ship are in your shopping cart before checking the shipping cost. Once you are done choosing all of your fabrics, got to the "Shopping cart" page. There you will find, next to the "sub total" a link to "Estimate shipping cost", click on it, fill out your shipping information and click on "Calculate". Make sure to fill out all three categories. You will then see the different prices for different delivery options. Close the window and proceed to check out.

22) Do you ship internationally? Yes, we do. We ship all samples through the U.S. Postal Service. And we can ship your fabric using UPS International Priority Service, DHL or the U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail depending on what you choose at check out.

23) Do you ship to PO Boxes? No, we don't ship to PO Boxes.

25) Is it secure to use my credit card to pay over the net? Yes, it is very safe. When you enter your credit card information into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form. We use the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Also we do not store any of your credit card information after the transaction so even if a hacker does get into our system there is no information there for them to steal. 26) How long does it take for my order to be sent out? The swatches are sent out within 24 hours unless ordered during the weekend or holiday then they are sent out the next working day. The fabric is ready to be shipped out within 1-2 days after receiving the payment, but we try to do it within 24 hours. (Fabric ordered during weekends or holidays is shipped out on the next working day)

27) Can I trace my order once it is sent out? To see if your order is shipped out, "Sign in" and click on "Account". Once you are on "My Account" page you will see "Order Status", second one down on the right hand side, click on it. You will be taken to "Order History" and there you will see either "Pending" or "Shipped". If your order has been shipped then check the email address you have provided us with when you registered. You should have received an email from us that includes your tracking number and a link. Click on the link and type in your tracking number in the provided space. Here you can see your order travel from our warehouse right to your door

28) What are the "Doggy bag", the "Special", and the "Ooops sale"? The "Doggy Bag" is a place where we put different length, pre-cut pieces of fabric for you to purchase. These pieces are leftovers from the rolls of fabrics we carry, so you get great deals on them. "Special" is a place where you get deals on different bleached fabrics in certain yardages. For example, if you know you'll need 20 yards of IL019 bleached, you can go to "Special" to buy it and save money. Keep in mind that if you order 20 yards of IL019 bleached from the "All Fabric" section, you won't get a discount so don't forget to use the "Special" for purchasing bigger quantities of white fabric. "Ooops Sale"- here we randomly select fabrics from our stock and put them on sale. These fabrics are exactly the same quality as the other fabrics we offer. They aren't pre-cut to certain yardages like in the "Doggy bag". There is absolutely no difference between them and our usual fabrics.

29) How can I find out about the doggy bag sales and the ooops sales? By joining the "Mailing List" you are guaranteed to hear about new fabric arrivals, sales, additions to the "Doggy bag" and much more. 30) How do you count the "Doggy bag" pieces? By piece or by yards? By piece, so let's say you want 3 yards of doggy bag fabric that is pre cut to 1.5 yards. When ordering, change your quantity to 2 pieces and don't forget to do "Update quantity" or you will only have one 1.5 yard piece show up when you proceed to check out.
