This one could become a habit! This linen is a joy to sew. I often find myself doing a lot of the sewing by hand rather than by machine because it stitches so easily and smoothly. For most clothing uses I´d prefer the lighter, IL020, but this weight is very useful. So far I have a jacket in this and some other articles of modern day clothing, but next I think it will be a kirtle with lots of embroidery. It is a dream to embroider. The color is luscious, but a little more subtle than ones like "Ceramic." There will be pictures when the camera is charged.

the sample swatch on line shows a bit more blue-ish than actually in person but worked well for my client order. it is a medium tone turquoise green.. not much blue ,, just a hint- which goes great with the pacific blue- i variegated pacific blue and grass green linen yarn and created fringe to match the fabric..

IL019 SEA GREEN Softened - 100% Linen This dress is based on the 15th century dresses with raised pleats, often called "Housebook" dresses, in what is now Germany.
