I believe Tricia w/the family linen outfits, with all the work involved. it made for a memorable family photo. one for the records

Given that the winning entry seems to have commercially-made trim and is a very simple pattern, I’m surprised it’s ranked so highly. It’s competently done and very nice looking, but not the best of these entries if you judge difficulty of work and the amount of hand-work included.

I’d rate Vicky’s brown Viking tunic, with its hand-woven (tablet-weaving) trim and hand-embroidered decorations, as the best, and if (as I suspect), the embroidered Fleur-De-Lys on Bella’s bliaut and veil are hand-done, I’d rate it second-highest.
