The popular handkerchief weight IL020 3.5 ounces a yard 100% linen fabric has a new addition. To the solid colors we have added Yarn dyes - article IL022.

Yarn dye fabrics have a design that is made by interweaving different color threads to get a pattern.

We brought 16 different designs to choose from, but not a lot of yardage so we would like you to have the first pick and we will start advertising them next Monday.

These fabrics are gorgeous and are here just in time to start those spring projects.

The fabrics shimmer under sunlight; the color schemes are fresh and crisp; and the fabric is very soft to the touch even though it hasn’t been softened.

I started plotting how to shrink my bed linens so I can have new ones made out of this fabric (I already picked the one I want for my duvet cover – IL022 171- and have the IL019 Sunshine for my pillow cases, perfect for sunny days, very exited!!!)

Usually I wouldn’t recommend using 3.5 ounce fabric for anything other than chemises or other articles that can be allowed to be see-through, but because these fabrics are yarn dyes – they aren’t as sheer as you would expect of such a light fabric.

With confidence you can use these fabrics to make bed linens, men’s and women’s shirts, light dresses, to tell you the truth, they are so pretty you should use them for everything you can.

I did my best in PhotoShop with getting the right colors, but no computer screen can do them justice.
